Who Can Be a CSJ Associate?
Anyone over the age of 21 who is interested in non-vowed membership in the CSJ community can inquire about entering our associate program. Candidates are those who share the CSJ commitment to Gospel values, and who are drawn to the charism and spirituality of our community. Our associates are financially independent individuals who genuinely want to share the CSJ mission and ministry with others.
Goals of CSJ Associate Membership

To deepen one’s personal relationship with God, neighbor, and all creation. |

To serve the “dear neighbor” within one’s own lifestyle and occupation. |

To bring one’s gifts, life experiences, and hopes to share in community. |
What Do Associates Do?
CSJ Associates live the values and goals of the CSJ community and seek ways to share in the mission. They participate in CSJ events and contribute financially as able.

How Do I Become A CSJ Associate?

Contact the co-directors of the CSJ Associate Program, who will send you information packet and an application,
and invite you to meet with them for further discussion. |

Complete and return the application form. |

Meet with the Coordinator of Orientation for an interview. |
| • |
When you are accepted, you will begin the orientation process. |
Orientation

Usually lasts for one year. |
| • |
Includes close interaction with a CSJ mentor. |
| • |
Candidates attend monthly meetings to share/discuss/ increase knowledge of CSJ Handbook, Constitution, Documents, charism, spirituality, mission, ministries,
history, etc. |

Concludes with a formal Rite of Commitment. |
