Vowed Membership

Have you considered life as a sister (a "vowed member")? Are you a woman between the ages of 21 and 50 who feels a deep desire to give expression to a life of service to God that reflects:

•

the active inclusive love of God for all people and all of Creation
•
an openness to reflect on and respond to the inspirations of God that lead you to always move toward fulfilling the prayer of Jesus that “All May Be One”
•
 a passion to bring hope and healing through works of justice and mercy to those in need as a result of our broken world environment
• a desire to grow toward wholeness in your relationship with God, neighbor, yourself, your congregation, and the global community?

Vowed women religious serve as a prophetic gift both to the Church and to the world as the continuing presence of Jesus among the “dear neighbor without distinction,” especially the needy, the oppressed, the hurting, and the alienated.

Sisters of St. Joseph see themselves as called into the world out of love to minister to its current unmet needs and to bring about unity in such a way that they shall be recognized as those from “the Congregation of the Great Love of God.”
